Hello how to geek i host a website from home on my old laptop ( http://m6ayw.no-ip.org/ if anyone wants to look) but it seams to be awfully slow and i was wondering have you got any tips to speed it up? Im running windows 7 32bit

I get a server unresponsive notice at that address. Are you sure it's the correct one ?

Site loads at around 7 secs a good way behind at least 75 - 80% of others, probably due to the image layers slowing things down.

Also some of the links are littered with Nasties, put me right off. :(

A few links to read on helping with site loading : http://diythemes.com/thesis/im.....pagespeed/ read each link in the site and consider where you may be able to make adjustments.

Also the nasties are within the test link : http ://wp. me/ p2WQyb-3 (link adapted so not to be used), leads to : http://15647 .bodisparking .com/hotawatch .cu.cc (link adapted again). The last link a redirect to bodisparking has been flagged by WOT as Red and user comments have stated their AV throws up Malware.
