sound problem

Hi! guys i need your assistance please

I'm using ubuntu version 9.04 since its installation my laptop machine sound comes only from the speakers but once i plug my headphone the sound still comes from the speakers, i have tried to check for solution but i have failed, that i found myself need your assistance badly

Hi would suggest that you go HERE go to absolute beginner talk and post your problem with the audio.

Also the laptop your using or the sound card will help them solve this problem.
