Software to create decent looking fliers (open source preferably)

Our computer support class would like to create fliers w/images advertising free computer diagnostics (for hands on training) and all that good stuff. Would appreciate if someone could point out a software to create decent looking fliers. Thanks.

Hi CompWiz,

I would highly suggest Scribus >> Download

OR

Serif >> Download

As these two programs are open source and can create professional looking flyers.

if you have office or word you an download pre-formatted templates too. ...

Marketing flyers

Other flyers

Event flyers

if you dont have word perhaps someone can verify weather or not you can open the template in openoffice which is free ! : )
