I have over 4-5 hard drives for various content, and my trouble is I need to know what files are on those hard drives, without constantly plugging them into my computer.
Ideally I would like a program to take not just a snapshot of the hard drives file directory but also let me search through it.
Does anyone know of such a program?

I remember there used to be CDtree for something like this earlier.. here is the link, but i remember it used to have limited functionality so hence I was hoping for a newer software with more bells and whistles. considering the number of people using hard drives have jumped.
