Slow Windows explorer in windows 7

Windows explorer is normal at first log on after that it becomes very slowly and a green bar is crawl finally the error message comes 'My Computer not responding'. Please help me in this issue to trouble shoot.Thank you.

Press Reset button under Internet Options Tab in IE icon in the control panel.

Then Reboot.

Hi,

I am not able to understand your post ( My problem is 'Windows explorer (not Internet explorer) open very slowly with a green bar crawling sometimes it could not open and gives the error message 'not responding')Its open only at the time of login (first time or onetime)for that every time I have to log off and log in again to access my computer then only it opens. I had done sfc/scannow option, chdsk option, disk defragment like all the things, but the problem still continue. Could you please explain how to trouble shoot it? Thank you
