We're having a few issues with the upgrade... still working through some problems. Hopefully everything will be resolved soon, but if the site is slower than normal at least you'll know why =)

Yes, this morning I had a problem with getting the home page loaded at first, but once it was loaded, everything went smooth. I was wondering why. Thanks for letting us know!

Good to have the matter resolved. Thought it was my wifi connection.

Moved my car again around the block to pick up another wifi connection but was for naught so moved it back in front of my next door neighbor's house. Just glad I didn't panic and do a Clean Install.

Should have siphoned some gas while you were out.

Did that Friday night for the weekend. Have a couple of spare buckets full in the trunk.

Those chickens are always *fowling up the servers. Let 'em eat thighs.

Looks like there's a weird error with attempting to hit non-existent pages - which causes the thread to timeout. Combine that with a bunch of search engine bots going nuts trying to hit pages that aren't actually there, and it's a recipe for disaster.

I've been redirecting most of the problem pages, so the server usage is back to normal levels, but there's still a problem to resolve.

Still trying to fix up things - looks like the integration between the forum and the main article section is broken at the moment, so if you leave a comment on the main part of the site it won't automatically fill in your details. Minor irritation, but we'll get it fixed up.

It's better than what it was doing - which was totally hanging the site if you were logged in.
