(Solved) - skype 64 bit PC

I try to insall skype on my new labtop (Windows 64 bit) but it give me error massage :

… \skypesetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application. i tried to find a skype 64 bit to download but couldn't
what am i doing wrong?

Skype should install without problems. 32 or 64.
However disable firewall and A/v progs for the install.

Also, if you had / have previous version on your machine the it must be uninstalled

thanks again vistamike, its running ok now, but it did say something about changing to 64 bit, but it hasn't this time so hopefully problem solved tt
