Tony reminded me in another thread about a small Silverlight issue that's been bugging me.
I use a program from work for grades registration and it's online so I can also access it from home.
It is based on Silverlight and at work it opens directly, but at home I get asked if I want to increase the available storage space.
I'd like to increase the default storage space so I won't get this question each and every time I access the program.
Does anyone know how to do that?

What happens when you click yes?

Apparently it increases the storage and the program continues to open.
But I get the same question the next time I access the site.

Check around on there might be a spot that says something to the effect (don't remind me next time).

Edit: I got rid of Silverlight long time ago. Not needed for me.

I've rightclicked the site and clicked on the silverlight button that appears and that takes me to settings within silverlight.
But none of them help me to increase the storage space.

(I've blurred the website name, but as you can see it has a specific storage space and there are no options to enlarge it, not even when rightclicking)

Do you need the space? What if you say no?

Edited my above post with a screenshot ;)

And I can say no and the site opens normally, but will crash when I try to save changes (which is what the site is about - to save all sorts of data).

Unfortunately it tells me nothing new. I can delete storage silverlight keeps occupied or disallow using storage at all, but there is no way to increase the storage by default.
Admittedly it isn't a huge issue - just two more extra clicks and a couple seconds extra waiting time - but the problem does not appear at work (at my previous work the same request appeared, so at that time I thought there was no other option).
After the holidays I'll look up the IT guys and ask them about it. Just really curious now <LOL>.

Sarah

Just a thought. Have you thought about cookies and maybe you need to save that one from deletion if you are deleting it? When you delete that site's cookie how can it remember not to ask again or remember any preferences?

Found MS info: http://www.microsoft.com/getsi.....orage.aspx

Also, try another browser to eliminate that.
