Hi guys,

Is there anyway i can get rid of this shortcut from desktop!?!?

Not too sure, what does it matter what the exact name is?

I think its Sony Ericcson PC Suite 3.2 or something?

The program automatically updated itself to 4.0 but the 3.2 shortcut was left on the desktop completely unusable and non-deletable...

It matters because sometimes the spelling of a file/folder/shortcut defines how it can be deleted.

Did you reboot the system since the shortcut went "dead"?

What happens when you try to delete? Did you try the cut option?

There a a couple of solutions to your problem here:Delete Me. ,or there are a number of apps out there that will do the job. Delete Doctor is a freeware from Australia that has work well for me in the past.
Can't remember where i got it, but it works pretty well.
