(Solved) - Shortcut to hide wallpaper in XP desktop
(10 posts)- Remove Solved Status
Hello there...
Check this link out, I know it doesn't hide your wallpaper, but it does change it when you double click the shortcut, so maybe you could set the wallpaper to change to a white - (blank wallpaper) when you double click the shortcut?
What do you think...

I don't think microsoft has a toggle option unfortunutlety... What about this?
Once you have downloaded it, open it, right click the wallpaper-changer icon - (bottom right next to clock) and select "Adolix wallpaper changer control panel", from there you can change the images it uses, to apply hotkeys to change the wallpaper right click that icon and click settings, maybe just put your origional wallpaper and a white blank wallpaper. Then by assigning a hotkey you can change the wallpaper... if you don't like the hotkey idea simply just click the Adolix wallpaper changer icon next to the clock.
Im not good at explaining sorry, just have a play around with it :-)

I thought it was quite a good software too... unfortunutely I cannot see a reason for the message :S ... but at least it clears the wallpaper, to an extent... your best bet is to have a look around on Google for that error, I have had a breif look but cannot see much, sorry...
But i'm glad you like it :-)
Well, unfortunutly everything software wise will have its bugs regarding your outlook problems :-( ... If you want to create a blank wallpaper in light blue rather than creating a hotkey for hiding the wallpaper, make it CHANGE OR SWAP wallpapers when a hotkey is typed, then you can toggle your wallpaper into a light blue one when the hotkey is typed... to make a light blue wallpaper you can just simply open Paint... change the canvas size to what ever your screen resolution is, fill it all in light blue, save it to where ever you wish to save it, add that image-(light blue one) to the wallpaper changer playlist... so when your new assigned hot key is typed it will change into that light blue one you created in paint. If you don't understand just say...
