Sharing printer on XP desktop with laptop win 7 -Home edition

Printer is Dell AIO A960 ink jet. Tried your posted solution but still not able to connect. No update for driver available for this model. If I install XP mode on the laptop will it work then?

You would be able to print in XP mode, but you would still not be able to print from the Windows 7 side. Afraid it is time to upgrade your printer if you want to print in Windows 7.
