i've followed the setup sharing files and printers between win7 and XP.

I have a couple errors that pop up, both laptops see each other.
What i'm trying to do is share a printer and an external hard drive that are connected to my windows 7 laptop wirelessly.
My wife's XP is at SP2.
While on her laptop attempting to access the files on my laptop an error pops up saying" computer\ is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the admin of this server to find out if you have access permissions

Access is denied"

then while attempting to log into her laptop from mine is says "check the spelling of the name otherwise there might be a problem with your network." and then it wants to run a diagnosis.

I'm not normally one who registers and posts, but i've been having difficulty searching this particular problem.
Any help would be appreciated let me know if i'm missing any information that is needed.
Thank you for your time
