Share your Muxtape address here. It should be fun to see how large of a group we can get! I look forward to seeing everyone's selection of music ... should be a very vast range of styles!

Oh ... and if you missed it check out my article on the whole Muxtape idea:

Great idea. Unfortunately mine are all in WMA format since I ripped them from my own CD.If someone tells me an easy way to convert some to mp3, I will post some more. Here is the one and only mp3 I have - which happens to be amongst my favorites in popular music. http://whs.muxtape.com/

I used WMP and ripped in MP3 format from the CD. I don't know of a way to convert them, though.

@ Lighthouse. Come on, post some tunes, I promise I won't laugh! :)

I guess I could rip them again. But most of my CD's are in my winter home. So I can only do it in the winter. But there must be an easy converter that someone can recommend.

You don't have some good ones on hand?
BTW, I wish I could speak French.

I have plenty of CD's here too - but mostly classical music. Btw, French is easy - if you grow up with it. lol
I found a few converters on the web - but I don't know what they are. Media Monkey looked real easy, but you can only convert 5 titles and then you have to buy the product. That sucks.

Well, just rip some of your favorites. That's what I did. It will give everyone an idea of your music
taste. I just went to my collection and randomly picked some songs.

@mysticgeek, that was only a trial version - no good.
@Bartman, the problem is, that I do not have the physical CD's where I am right now. But I have all my WMA music files on the system because I always carry all my files from location to location on a two and a half inch disk.

@whs: The download for dBPowerAmp has both versions. It will have pro features for 21 days and then revert to free only features. From looking at the page the audio converting is a free feature so you can download it and convert audio files without a usage time limit.
Also for converting WMA files you will need to download and install the Windows Media plugin for the program from http://www.dbpoweramp.com/code.....-audio.htm

jd, Thank you. I actually got that far including the WMA plug-in. Had everything installed. But when I saw 21 day trial, I threw it out - lol. Thank you for clarifying that for me. I also had considered Media Monkey. That looked like a neat program. Do you have a view on that? I don't mind to pay a few bucks - but it must be worth having.
Jack, have to wait for my conversion tasks. Still fishing in the dark.
