(Solved) - setup files are corrupted please obtain a new copy of the program

HI
Today when I tried to install pc tools internet security 2010 i got this error message "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program'' I downloaded it from the official pc tools site and not from any torrent. PLEASE HELP

i also redownloaded it with DAP (download accelerator plus) several times but it doesn't run and gives the same error message.

Hi keshav37a, try downloading again but without DAP. DAP may have caused the corruption

I followed your advice and disabled dap and then downloaded the file but it still shows the same error. help

I've just tested this link from cnet.com

And it installed ok
Edit; you will have to close all other security software for it to install

You might also try installing in safe mode if you still have a problem after Mike's suggestion.

Hi guys
i found a fix on some other site. i deleted the temporary files and rebooted the pc and installed a fresh copy of internet security and it worked like a charm
