Setting up a hybrid drive

I use the ISO they gave from the website. So I guess both, I burned it on to a DVD as well as a boot drive

You can try to do a Clean Install of Windows 8 using same method as this.

If it installs, then can try to update the BIOS again.

As I said before, the Version Numbers of the Bioes do not match their release dates so I'm not sure which Bios to apply to the machine.

Normally, Lower Number Bios Versions have Earlier Release Dates but on the Support page, the opposite occurs ?!?!

This might be just "TYPOS" on the support page but is confusing to say the least. :(

Did the clean Windows 8 result and no success. After reading the Intel manuals, the only thing I can thing of that doesn't satisfy the requirment is, it is not RAID. But like I said my BIOS has nothing like that. BIOS basically has date and time and thats about it

Ok so I figured this out. It was never able to do the smart response thing. It simply used the drive as a cache. http://superuser.com/questions.....r-m3-581tg
