I am doing a project in mathematics which mainly deals with Circles, Semicircles and other geometric constructions.

I am in requirement of the best tool which can help me to draw circles, concentric circles, semicircles, hexagons, triangles etc.

I have tried with MathPad Draw 1.0 but it is not that much user friendly.
Please suggest me if you are having any idea of such tool on internet.

P.S. I have to copy those drawings in Word, PowerPoint,Excel.

No whs... It is not working.

I need very specific measurements for the circle diameter, perimeter, area etc. Because, I have to draw a semicircle on the perpendicular bisector of a right angle triangle.

I would look for a CAD (Computer Aided Design) programme as that is what architects and such use and they need to be very precise. I have not used such software for a long time, the last one I used was Autosketch. You may want to find more information about CAD first. Also ask at your university as often they can give you the software free or at a very reasonable price.

@ cas34, CAD is a very high level design program and it requires the knowledge of some commands and steps to execute the layout drawing.

And for your kind information I am not doing this project from any university or college. This is my personal interest so that I can forward this work to a well known Mathematics author to publish in his forth coming book.

I tried with MS Visio 2007 but less satisfied.

I don't know how Autosketch works.
