i m very new fan of UBUNTU ... i installed Ubuntu's latest hardy heron by my self with dual boot with vista...

here is my problem ...
i want to use linux at my school tooo , bt they use SECURE W2 , certificate for WINDOWS OS for authentication and authorization ( i guess ), so i talked to them that i want to setup my lappy for linux .. bt they said .. they don't provide technical support for linux ( damn ... ) , so finally i came here with my problem and i know that ppl around here can solve my problem ...

does anyone know what is an alternative of SECURE W2 ??? OR any other method ?? if YES , please please please explain it in step by step so i can follow it bcoz i m still tooooo green for linux ...
