Screenlets still showing when i open Chromium ?

Hello i am using Peppermint Ice Linux o/s on my Acer Aspire 5536 laptop and i went to the software manager and installed weather and digital clock screenlets and they look good,the only problem is when i open my Chromium browser i can still see the screenlets on the right of the screen,does any one know of way that when i open my browser i cannot see the screenlets please,i know i can just exit them but there must be a way i do not see them ?

Never heard of of Peppermint Ice before. Are they set to Always On Top?

thank you for your reply but i have deleted screenlets and i am now using HTC-Weather conky.
