screen resolution keeps changing

Hi
i have a vista 32 system laptop-I have an extra monitor connected to it. I have seet the laptop monitor to 1366 768 pixels but everytime i power on it changes back to 1280 768. But at theat resolution. the writing on the screen is fuzzy and difficult to read. any one got any advice as to what's going on

Try this click Start menu>Run>type "msconfig" without quotes>select tab "BOOT INI" Probably you´ll see the menu called "Boot Options", there you should uncheck "/BASEVIDEO". Restart and everything should be just fine
