(45 posts)Have just read through that thread, and my first reaction was shock
What a rude, selfish person who couldn't be bothered to try/or listen - nobody was going to do it for him were they, and that seemed to be what he expected
'I dont care that your first computer was a Z1,
I dont care that you had a shit holiday,
I dont care your cat/dog/mother/wife has died,
I dont know them,
I dont want to know them,
I dont care about any of your problems,
I didnt come in here to see or hear about your opinions, problems, what sex your first born was, what kind of kids you have,
I dont care that you have 24 hours to live,
I dont know you,
I DONT want to know you
I'm selfish, I just care about the problems I have'
That is just RIDICULOUS
He wasted his time typing that?
Geeezzzz . . . I just read that guy's thread. Wow . . . what an a**hole. I've seen flames in my time, but that is right up there with the most obnoxious. I expect he's gotten kicked off a couple of other boards too. And if the Yahoo folks hadn't given him an answer in "1" try, I imagine he would have flamed them too.
I think Scott did the right thing for this community. My compliments, Scott.
Good riddance, BUM!!
Bob, you need the American's guide to British slang!

@Scott,
Well out of all due respect, the (Multilateral) who posted back the (Insult) to pepsi666 was way out of line in their response to a disgruntled person who received NO help and just "vented" out of frustration.

@whs,
You didn't see my personal apology because the topic was removed so quickly.
Also you know as an old combat pilot I don't put up with or tolerate BS from anyone.
However, when one has "a hard landing and breaks the under carriage or skids, then that is exactly what it is
- A Hard Landing - NOT BS.

Agree or not, (All) of us were at Fault Here and "lessons learned" should be left posted for all to see (EXCLUDING)(EXCLUDING) the (Multilateral) (Insult) posted back to pepsi666 by HTG no matter how hostile he felt.
Kindest Regards,

From that link you provided ScottW: "Bum - This is the part of your body you sit on. Your ass! It might also be someone who is down and out, like a tramp. You might also bum around, if you are doing nothing in particular, just hanging out. Finally to bum something means to scrounge it from someone."
I think the American version is closer to "someone who is down and out, like a tramp", though as I used the word it described this guy being totally obnoxious and a complete idiot.
I know he wouldn't hang around because he thinks poorly of us, but too bad he can't read here that the feeling is mutual.
