"I have a computer with 3 SATA hard drive and 1 DVD SATA, what I want to know if this well this work as a good as having a IDE Hard drive or will it damage the computer complely?

Huh? Don't understand your question?

Are you ADDING an IDE drive? Do you have a controller or port for it?

IDE and SATA are different implementations (and ports and connectors as well) that run media devices.

Please explain more what you want to know?
