Please. Do you have all your 3rd party programs installed in English language versions ?

Most of them, yes
MS Office not - is a Dutch version and still Office 97 LOL.

Thanks, and Sarah. Did any of those programs not run (because of the difference in languages) ?

If anyone else has had this problem, then please dive in.
(In my case, installing an English program onto a French system)

So far I never had a problem installing anything languagewise, but some refuse to install in anything else than Dutch (other options turn up grayed out).

Did you run into trouble after changing your systemlanguage?
I'm still busy building my desk and other parts of my home - PC still gets minimal time only:-)

@LH, I´ve never had problems with installing English programs either. I´ve used XP Media Center Edition in German and now Vista Ultimate German with English language pack and install everything (games, apps, programs, drivers) in English without a problem. What are you having problems with? The only problem i ever had was the rollup 2 update from MS which i had to intall in German!!

The main problem seems to be, that if I install PowerPoint Viewer (English version) onto a French system, it installs OK, but doesn't run.
The English version works fine when the system is in English. Switch the system to French, and no. Tis necessary to install the French version.

What language version is your Office?
(Or don't you have Office installed?)

If you have any Office components installed I think you need to install the viewer in the same language ...
