Safe to delete Rundll32 file in Windows 8?

I had installed Logitech Setpoint software for a wireless mouse but decided to uninstall it. Now when I look in task manager in the startup folder there is an entry called Logitech Download Assistant which I have disabled but would still like to delete. When I right click on it and choose Open File Location it is a Rundll32 file in the Windows System 32 folder.

Should it be safe to delete this file? I would make a copy of the file in case anything were to go wrong but I thought I'd ask first.

A Rundll32 is a generic process like svchost.exe. It may be used for many other .dlls to run. I would leave it alone.

Rundll32 is used by many programs I would not touch it . You should be able to remove Logitech Download Assistant from startup and/or ith RevoUnnstaller.
