I have been thinking about trying to run ubuntu as a host and using XP as a guest in virtual box just to make it easier to deal with the constant threat of viruses and give me a more stable foundation. I would basically boot straight into the XP guest and use that all the time.

Does anybody have any experience using a simlar set-up or have any idea what kind of system resources it would take to do this?

Thanks
