Hello,
Whenever I boot up my computer I get two windows that pop up. The first is the Roxio CD requesting information. I deleted Roxio program. When I contacted Roxio, they said that no longer support the version I had. They offered no help on how to remove this window request. The second window that pops up immediately after is the Windows Installation window. I cannot cancel the windows. I am forced to "Control, Alt, Delete" each window. When I do that, they do go away. Then I can launch the application I want. It is irritating and so far, no one has been able to provide me with a way to get rid of these without going to the Windows Manager. I have searched for these files and cannot locate them to delete them. I know that they are located somewhere in my hard drive/system folders, but even searching for hidden files has not resulted in finding them.

I sure could use some suggestions/help. Thanks in advance.

P.S.
I am running Windows XP on a Dell Inspiron. What other information should I provide to assist with an answer?

tinacscs, try following the instructions in this KB article from Roxio. Although the title is "clean install", it is basically directions on how to *uninstall* all Roxio and Sonic software in preparation for another install.

Note that when you are having problems with some software, the information that you should provide to assist with an answer would include the name and version of the software. Roxio is a company so saying, "I deleted Roxio program" is like saying, "I deleted the Microsoft program".

Thanks so much ScottW. I will give it a try. I appreciate the referral to the clean installation of creator etc.
