I am trying reconfigure my Netgear router, but when I am in my RouterLogin page, it tells me I have no net connection. Clearly I do or I wouldn't be able to post this. For the last hour I actually didn't have any internet. All my Comcast modem lights were normal. I did everything I could imagine (resetting the modem, resetting the router, unplugging and plugging back in both, and even trying a different ethernet cable). After the last attempt, I just gave up. I came back to my pc and wam, net connection was back (really strange). I don't understand why the "1" on my router is not lit up like it always is. Can someone help me out here? I included a pic for info purposes

**now my connection keeps switching from "Local and Internet" to "Local" and back. WTH is going on? :(

I would guess at a faulty router or faulty conenction to the internet from the router.

if this is an ADSL router - try replacing the filter
