I have a rather weird problem. After maybe a month of fiddling with this, i give up. I need help. Anyways, I have windows 2003 small business server set up. Its a fresh install. Now for the 20 or so people accessing the server, each is assigned a roaming profile. However, unless i give the profiles administrative priv. The users can't customize their wallpaper or switch the theme from "classic" to "luna". Group policy has not been implemented yet so thats not forcing them into the classic view. Any one got any quick fixes or solutions? As of now... I'm all ears.

What do you mean they can't change the wallpaper? Are they getting an error message?

as in when you right click desktop and go to properties. instead of a preview of the current theme, its just a black screen. you can try to change wall paper, but the background is still the generic blue.

Are they logging in on client machines with the domain account or are they using something like RDP to access the server?
