retrieving email

If I recently viewed an email on an old email account but then deleted the entire account thinking I would no longer use it is there a way to retrieve that email off my computer somehow? It was a yahoo email address that I deleted.

Welcome cmkxr. If you downloaded the email before you deleted the account, then it may be possible. Otherwise not.
