Hello, I'm trying to limit the time that the kids ipod connects to the internet. The temptation is too much for them and they need a set time at night their connection is closed. I have a linksys e3000 router and and I have install tomato firmware. There is a setting for "access restriction" and I have tried this using the mac address of the i-pod. Doesn't seem to work the internet just continues to run. My router is also setup to run a US proxy service to give me access to netflix. I read that vpn can mess with the access restriction so I tried to disable the proxy service(not sure if this is vpn related) and still the internet isn't limited. I did a 30/30/30 reset. Any other options? Looks like a simple thing to setup not sure why I'm having so much trouble. I'm running TOmato 1.28 on my router.
