Whenever I attempt to do Restore Point the computer does whatever it has to and when it reboots there's an error message to tell me that "System Restored did not complete successfully" and that nothings been changed. Details: "An unspecified error occurred during System Restore".
FAQs aren't much help either. Help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately it is true that System Restore in Vista and Windows 7 is a bit wacky. I recommend you make images in the future - e.g. with free Macrium.
