@Mike,

Think Scott means Office Picture Manager program.

I'm just pulling images from different websites with html code so what background are you looking for ??

In Paint, without resizing, have you tried File>Set as Desktop Background- Stretched?
Or with resizing Image>Resize/Skew and adjust the numbers accordingly.

Mike,

I can do it in XP so think you can do it in Vista.

Left click Scott's picture and save to desktop.

Go to screen desktop properties and browse for background picture file saved on desktop.

Set as background by stretching the image.

It does alright on a wide screen. Not much blur at the size he posted.

rick,the only option to stretch is in paint,and i dont like the result. it isn't a big deal,i just thought it was something simple i was doing wrong.it may be the fact that this is just a basic verson of vista.thanks for your and scotts help.you may now go back to helping members with real programs.lol
