I have a Canon Xti which takes 10 mp pictures. When sent as attachments to email they are huge. What can I do to the pictures so that when they are opened by the recipient they are normal size? When I had a 5mp camera it wasn't a problem. I have an iMac with Leopard and use Firefox.

Since I know nothing about iMac I can only explain the principle how I do it for exactly the same purpose: Copy the picture into a Document and store that in PDF format. In fact I usually put several pictures on the same page. PDF files are not very big. In Vista I do this with Word2007. Maybe there is something similar on IMac.

What email service and email client do you use?
If you use the mail program in Leopard there is tip for resizing pictures at http://www.apple.com/pro/tips/emailresize.html

Edit: Looks like Santo beat me to the apple.com link by about two minutes.
