I would like to reroute the Sleep Button on my Keyboard to turn off the monitor instantly.
I was searching on the internet, I went into Power Options > advanced options > Buttons > Sleep and there was Do Nothing, Sleep, and Hibernate.
I just want to turn off the monitor without any sleep or hibernate or anything that turns off the computer, and disconnects to computer from the internet.
I do have the monitor turn off at 1 minute, but i want it instantly at the press of the Sleep Button.
All help is appreciated! :D

I meant if i could change the settings.
For example, i want to press the sleep button, and the monitor turns off instantly.
I don't have a power button on my monitor though.

Hmmm, maybe I missed it in your Username: is it a desktop style Touchsmart?

It is NOT a laptop, it is a desktop.
System Specs: HP Touchsmart IQ527 Desktop PC (all updates installed)

When you go to Control Panel>Keyboard, what tabs are you offered? Is one "Key Settings"? If so, click it and see if the sleep button shows in the list.
If it does, click to see if a configure option shows up. If so, click the configure button & scroll through the list to see if 'shut off monitor' is there.
If it isn't, then I don't know anyway to remap that key for that purpose. It's all about HP's hardware/software design.
