(Solved) - Replace text across multiple files.

I have about 800 text files that I need to replace similar words in each wihtout doing each one individually. What is a good program to do this?

I'll give it a shot.

Edit: Worked great! Thanks Rick. Saved me several days work and getting the suggestion here saved me a couple Google hours of testing.

As long as the files aren't Word. The commenters made note that this replacement program corrupted their files.

No they were .m3u playlists. worked great as noted above. I believe it specifically warns against using it in coded files such as word files.

This is an excellent program. I have used it to update thousands of text files. Regular Expression support too.
