renew IP address windows XP

How can i release and renew the IP address of my loptop by using the run what command im i going to use..somebody helps me..In windows 98 i know hpw to do it but in XP i have no experience at all.

ipconfig /renew should do it.

Otherwise you can do:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
