My "rename" choice has disappeared from my right click context menu.

i was trying to rename video files i had downloaded from y my video camera. No problem before today with renaming.
it only started today

You might want to run sfc /scannow.

What if any A/V or malware software is installed?
You can highlight the file and press the F2 key it will prompt you to rename the highlighted file.
