I have a large folder of files and I want to remove the spaces from the file names. I have recently learned how to use the CMD box, so be very clear. I just want to remove the spaces and not replace them with anything else. Thank you.

Hi

Midway down in this article is an explanation of how to do exactly what you want. There are also free apps available to do this sort of thing and any minute now you will get lots of suggestions from other members

moreeg's link includes several good ways to rename files. I use the bulk rename utility that is mentioned in that article.
