I have had on my old laptop for about a year now, and I never see those annoying pop-up ads. The other day I bought a new laptop and one of the first things I did was go to, and I noticed lots of pop-up ads. I am using Firefox on both computers. Why are they appearing on one, but not the other ? And is there a way to remove them altogether ?
Thanks in advance, Mickmac

Likely you are using the Adblock extension on the other copy of Firefox? That's typically how you remove ads.

Also, check in Options -> Content and make sure the pop-up blocker is enabled and that the site is not on the exceptions list.
