I'm wondering how I can remove DRM protection from some WMA files after I've downloaded them legally from PureTracks.com. I've tired burning them to disk then ripping, but for some reason Media player is burning them as data, not an audio.

Mandy, if you are using WMP 11, hover over the Burn button until a little down arrow appears. Click it to open the menu and make sure that "Audio CD" is selected and *not* "Data CD".
