im running XP want to know if i can reformat a Regular XBOX HDD and use as a normal HDD it shows in boot menu but i can't get it to show in my computer. shows in device manager but i dont know what to do from here. ive Searched for info no luck and i have no clue to maybe find drivers for it.

hoping to use it so crossing the fingers

wd80e8 28cgh1 so its a 8GB HDD not 80GB i read it wrong duhh!

Hi. From device manager you should be able to right click on the HDD and format it from there.

Thanks prostheticHead i figured it out. im tryin to install Win 7 Ultimate, im a retard cuz i need at least 8 gigs for the OS im a dummy. throwing it away (unless i can use it for something that u know of)

8Gigs you say? Should make a nice paperweight. ;-)

I made a wall ornament from a dead 73Gb SAS Hdd, it looks pretty cool in my den.
