(Solved) - Recycle Bin won't auto-refresh *Only when using custom icons*

Hi. It would mean the world, if anyone could help me. The problem is basically described on the topic, but here goes a small explanation.

To use custom recycle bin icons:
-Right-click on the desktop
-Click on "Personalize"
-Click "Change Desktop Icons" on the left menu
-The "Desktop Icon Settings" window pops up

After doing this, I changed the default recycle bin icons (full and empty) for Xmas themed ones. And that's it. That's what causes the problem.

I'm sure of this because when I change the icons back to "default", they refresh just fine. The problem is exclusively when I change the default icons.

Is there a way to fix this? I'd really like to use custom icons, as I'm sure many many many on this forum do. Please, help!!!

YAY!!! Finally! Thanks ronniesonora.

I've been going crazy looking for the answer all over the web and I couldn't find any that could help. But this, this just did the trick. Thank you sooo much!
