reading pmn in windows

I sent a friend an email with an attachment scan. He is using Windows xp and can't read my attachment. Is there a program he needs or do i have to do something before i send it? thanks

What software are you using to scan the document? Some scanning software is proprietary and not necessarily easy to deal with.

Another thing you can try is convert the document into PDF.

They may need to download a PDF reader like Foxit ...
