I just upgraded my A/V computer from Win XP to Seven. The system was originally set up with an 80 gig OS hard drive and two 200gig HDs in Raid Striped config. I upgraded the drivers for Raid and everything seems to be working fine, I can access the video files on the updated computer and hard Drives as though nothing has changed except the drive letter is E instead of D, no big deal.
Now hear is the question. I went into the disk manager section to see what I thought would be two drives labeled Striped and dynamic configuration and it says they are mounted as Basic. If this is correct than it shouldn't be readable am I correct? I'm thinking the system just filled in the blanks. can anybody unravel this mystery?
