Rick, I had seen the same thing -- no Service Pack 3 in evidence for XP 64-bit. I had never understood why until I just did the research.
The 64-bit kernel used in XP comes from Windows Server 2003. Notice that Service Pack 2 for 64-bit XP and Server 2003 are the same image. Since there are no plans for a Service Pack 3 update to the x64 kernel, neither Server 2003 nor XP 64-bit will be getting an SP3.

Have 10 brand new Genuine MS Copies of Pro x64 I found in "junk" room and need to slipstream at least a couple for back-up O/Ses.
