I looked at my Chrome Plug-ins and noticed that I have 7 of these. All of them are 7.7.2 and beneath each of them are different MIME types that are associated with each of them. Is this normal? Should I disable all of them but 1? I am nothing close to being a "How to Geek" so please forgive me if my question is lame.

Mine says:

QuickTime (7 files) - Version: 7.7.1 (1680.42) (Disabled)
The QuickTime Plugin allows you to view a wide variety of multimedia content in Web pages. For more information, visit the QuickTime Web site.

so 7 files is probably correct. The important part is the Disabled part.

With the amount of bother and trouble with Chrome, wonder why people bother with it as a browser, too much trouble.
Quicktime? Not needed thank you.
Chrome is barred as a browser in most Co's I work for. So is anything to do with Apple. Quite rightly so.

Really helpful remark Mike. Have you not been taking your pills?

I agree with Mike, Chrome caused a lot of problems on my machines got rid of it a long time ago. Ditto with Quicktime, haven't used it since Windows 98.

I have used Chrome since it first came out and have had no problems with it what so ever.
