I recently tried to run a program that told me that the qtcore4.dll was missing, and that I must reinstall it in order to run the program. Firstly, I have no idea where to find it and reinstall from. Secondly, when I tried to search, I found this thing called DLL Fixer, which "fixes" the broken dll files...supposedly. Basically, I need to know if this program is safe for me to use or is it a virus/malware.

Anyone who can please help I would really appreciate it. I just need instructions on how to reinstall that file and to know if that other program is safe.

I don't know where to get the program to reinstall it. I was hoping someone would know.

Would a restore point reinstall the program? I'm not sure what a prior image is. Sorry. :/

The program is I guess the qtcore4.dll i'm not really sure otherwise.

That is what the computer keeps telling me... it says "the program can't start because QtCore4.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

qtcore4.dll is a dynamic link library of some program - but it is not a program by itself. The program that brought it is most likely 'WhatPulse2". http://www.whatpulse.org/
