How do I get this button to work? I know how to switch with the F Lock button but nothing happens when I press it.

If you are referring to windows... nothing will happen, at least not visually, but it'll copy the screen to the clipboard.

Try opening paint or some other app and pasting it in.

I was having problems with my prt sc key earlier as well. For some annoying reason, my new HP laptop has moved prt sc under insert and sys rq under delete. It took me a moment to realize nothing was being copied because I had to hit function + insert to get to prt sc. And now that I'm staring at my keyboard, I've realized they switched ctrl and function as well. That would explain some things...

Thanks! I didn't know about the Snipping Tool! Way better than using prt sc and digging up an image program to paste it in.

I do not see a Snipping Tool listed. Guess I'm out of luck, unless it wasn't installed off my Vista disk. Is it on Home Prem? as I have the full version.

My THANKS to all.
