So I want to enable Protected Mode in Internet Explorer. I open the Security Settings, check the box which says "Enable Protected Mode" for every zone. I then restart:

Internet | Protected Mode: off

Why?

Damn. Now I'm in some serious s***. I ran MsConfig, enabled UAC, rebooted. Went to open services.msc:

[Window Title]
C:\Windows\System32\services.msc

[Content]
C:\Windows\System32\services.msc

The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

[OK]

And also on MsConfig:

[Window Title]
C:\Windows\System32\msconfig.exe

[Content]
C:\Windows\System32\msconfig

The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

[OK]

Check your settings in User Accounts.

Fixed. I know many people have been bitching about this. Here's the answer:

1. Reboot.
2. Press F8
3. Boot into Safe Mode.
4. Logon as you.
5. Disable.
6. Reboot
