"Spider-Man" director Sam Raimi has signed on to direct the movie adaptation of "World of Warcraft," according to Variety. The movie will be known as "Warcraft," not "World of Warcraft."

What's the punchline? I don't get it.

Blizzard and Legendary Pictures have a press release confirming Raimi is directing the picture, but I don't see an *official* website for it yet. As far as I'm concerned, everything else is hearsay.
