Rick, are you sure it´s legit? I know the laws here and I can unlock a pre-paid after 2 years when contacting my provider. I am then sent an unlock code, or I can pay for a telephone to be unlocked!! Either way I have to be the person that first signed for the phone ;) Matt
The answer is Purchasing the Technical Reference Manual [ Not Owner's manual ] for the phone series from the device manufacturer.

You are referring to Telcom Carrier Service Contracts which vary widely. That is a personal issue which the OP must address for himself.

This assumes the OP purchases the Cell Phone or Transmission Device out right as I do and in NO way rents the phone or Electrical Transmission Device from others.
